A friend of mine suffered badly for years and tried alsorts. Eventually had to go on strong steroids and they helped. Haven't seen him for years so don't know if it stayed gone as other treatments worked for a short while x

I'm 37 and suffered with it since I was 14. I've tried every pill, potion, ointment and lotion over the years, both over the counter and prescription.

Two years ago I was put on Accutane by my dermatologist, it had no effect and almost shut down my kidneys. Since then I have gone back to the only antibiotic that ever worked for me-minocycline, trouble is, I've been on it so long its less effective than it used to be.

People only seem to associate acne with teenagers or poor hygiene, its not the case...

ive seen lazer surgery on this on embarresing bodies and it worked wonders..

It was her smile and confedence after that stood out more x

I have been to a clinic to see about laser treatment. It's great for scars and minor acne. Sadly the type of acne I suffer with can't be helped by laser and its also very expensive and not available on the NHS.
