We are now into the Summer music festival period! Slightly unqualified as I've only been to one. Download in 2012 but aside from travel issues and pissing rain on the first day I loved it.

What were some of your favourite festivals and why did you like it. Specific lineups? A surprise show? The company you went with etc

My music genre isn’t really staged at festivals but we have weekenders

All about the company, good real vinyl and a good venue helps

24 hour dance tent at Glastonbury, It’s a bit of a blur but I think it was 1993 and I think it was a combination of the Orb Massive Attack and Leftfield members played for full 24 hours

Grasspop or Waken have been favourite.

However the Shere amout of flashed tits I saw at Hellfest both years was unreal.

Never done a UK festival and would always advise the European ones.

I went to the Butetown Carnival once. Many, many, many moons ago.

Otherwise, I’ve not been to a Festival. The idea of being d*unk and needing my bed and then having to find my bed in a sea of tents just gives me nightmares.

We ended up getting a hotel. Campsite was like the Battle of the Somme. Paid through the nose for it but still was good to go home to a bed

Years ago there was a metal festival smaller than Wacken in Slovenia called MetalCamp.

It was a week long mad festival in between the Dolomite at the edge of the most freezing cold river.

It was my favourite festival. The music, the people, the late night chants that only those who had been year after year knew, the year we slept on top of a massive cow dung for a week (it was under our tent tbf), the wild sex memories, paying €5 for a hot shower, the year my mini skirt split open over my bum and I didn’t realise it for hours, my Italian guy that made me the most delicious campfire meals, oh and his perfect cock too… nostalgic that!

Metal Camp became Metal Days and it’s just never been the same.

Worked on the Wicker Man show at Glastonbury in '92. Three shows wearing naught but a horned helmet & a coat of body paint!

I've only ever been to v fest and that was for a day.

Always wanted to do Glastonbury but I know it would be sensory overload and I would absolutely hate it.

Donington 1984. Weather was great and the band lineup excellent as well. AC/DC, Van Halen (with Dave Lee Roth), Ozzy, Gary Moore, Y & T, Accept and Motley Crue.
