If you mean two to the power of three (2)3 ie 2x2x2 =8.

Is that it?

None of the above. I just thought I'd see what happened if somebody corrected my maths. If somebody's English is corrected, they are a "grammar nazi" or a "spelling nazi".

I just wondered if anybody would be accused of being a "mathematics nazi". It appears not, so why is it acceptable for somebody's English to be horrifically incorrect, but not somebody's maths?

I would suggest it is because we communicate with English and we don't with maths.

For example, I get pm's everyday along the lines of "I wanna fuk u." I rarely if ever get pm's along the lines of X + Y = 24.

I communicate with maths daily.

That's because I'm a physicist and have an engineering business. If I cocked up my communication with mathematics, it could cost me a small fortune!

You may communicate with maths in your business and if it was wrong, you'd get queried on it.

Same as how people get queried and corrected for spelling and grammar.

Personally, I lyk da peeps dat talk like dis...allows me to know who to avoid.

If you're a physicist then you know that adding quantum mechanics to the equation means that the answer is both correct and incorrect at the same time, it is also alive and dead and exists in many different realities!

More likely to be X + Y = 69
