I like your confidence and I am sure that you are right. Sexiness isn't just about clothes or make-up, it's something in you (although if the former make you feel more confident they can help). If you're sexy in the corset and lipstick, I'm sure you are without them.

I had to think about the first part of your question because it's not something at the forefront of my mind. I feel about averagely attractive.

I'm very confident in myself physically. I don't every try to make people want me really. They either will or they won't.

This does*not* mean I don't make an effort to look nice for my partner. I'm referring to random other people

I think the word "confident" is the key word here. I have days where I think I look good but then other factors could affect that confidence and make me see things in myself that others may not find attractive and because I'm feeling like shit, those traits are only magnified. It's crap to deal with and my solution has tended to just be to ride it out.

I feel like I'm okay. Not awful, not at my best. And that's fine - I'll be feeling more myself soon.

My confidence is growing. I suppose I'm increasingly happy with myself.

Make the people I want want me back? I can't make them. It doesn't work like that does it?

I'm sort of confident that someone I want, wants me back. A little bit confident that any desire and lust and feelings are reciprocated. It's a nice feeling.

but most days is just average.

I just do me. And if anybody else likes that then fine. I don’t feel particularly sexy in myself because I’m not having the sex. Nothing makes you feel sexier than being a cock charmer.

Right now I don't feel 'confident' in myself re physical attractiveness. My overall attractiveness, however, I'm confident.

My body is changing since becoming 50 and I'm in a little inner battle with those changes. But I refuse to let that hinder me from having life's pursuits and pleasures.

I'm grateful for a body that can bend and climb mountains, run 5k easily and is capable of all the gorgeous delights!

Getting people to want me doesn't quite register. I don't think I play that game. I look for attraction being reciprocal.

At this point in time I feel a 2 out of 10. Just got of the gym, all sweaty and grim. My fitness and health hasn't been as good in recent months. Got ill before Christmas, took me over 3 months to get over it, then I got an injury so I've not been able to do as much as I like to do in the gym. I then got into a rut of drinking and eating too much. Still carrying an injury so the gym is hard going at the moment and I'm still drinking too much, plus with what seems like getting older by the minute, I'm feeling a lot of self pity at the moment haha.

After a particularly rough ride this last few months, I’m feeling pretty buoyed and excited about a lot of things.

Prior to May I’d spent so much time leaning into my values ‘Be of service’ that i’d forgotten about me in the equation. I’d gotten used to giving more of me than I had. So when i really needed it, it wasn’t there, just like some people I thought I could trust.

However, I’ve done the work in the shadows, actually with a little assistance from a good FAB friend, through council and collaboration I’ve reset my boundaries, ‘be of service’ is now under reconstruction, to ensure moving forwards it includes me.

So, right now I feel like I am in the ascendancy, internal self talk & internalised confidence is returning. Never been a looker so that remains unchanged, albeit greyer and wrinklier!

Oh did I mention I’m crushing on someone from here?

At the moment I am working abroad and I never mix work with play.

This means all I am trying to do is keep my body fit, the weight off and avoid disfigurement.

I do not dress at all and am full on blokey bloke.

When I get back home and I have time off work I will consider dressing as Linda and take on board what I look like !

To be honest I never feel particularly attractive or hideously unattractive, I never seem to cause a swoon or make anyone run screaming (circumstances depending obviously) decidedly average on a good day is probably fair . It has no effect on my confidence or wellbeing , if people want me to remain in their lives for whatever reason it’s hugely unlikely to be appearance related

This is actually a knotty question, because for me it has no direct answer. I don’t feel remotely confident in myself physically, in that few people are interested and it feels rare that anyone wants me back. However, I am also completely at peace with myself and don’t waste any emotional capacity fretting about such things, and that makes me feel quietly confident. Don’t know if this contradiction makes any sense, but I guess emotions and self-perception rarely flow in a linear way anyway.
