I guess I'm just not fussed about any possible "repercussions" and it wouldn't affect me. Unlike Mrs, she would hate for anyone that knows her to know "I think that there's a possibility (albeit faint) of 'repercussions ' further down the line that people haven't even considered. Its half the reason I don't personally don't take explicit pics of myself and have them on the Internet. But if I was found out to be on a swinging site I wouldnt care. It's getting more popular for lots of people to be in this lifestyle "You wouldn't care *now*. While swinging might seem to be getting more popular as someone who worked on a publication that used to carry swinging adverts in the eighties I reckon it only seems that way because it's more visible. Growing up I thought I was moving into a world where a lot of the stigma and rigid thinking about sex, and specifically around sex solely for pleasure, had fallen away. As I've got older however, I see now how a lot of that good old fashioned group-think and social shaming still remains (and if anything has been positively reinforced by the rise of social media). I'm saying this with a focus on employers, people's livelihoods, etc. | |||
