Ladies - a question for science.

We all know when a guy gets aroused there's a physical change in that he gets hard.

But right before that happens there's a dopamine rush like no other. The brain fires up, you can feel the blood rushing to the Penis. All of a sudden, there's a literal excited feeling. A slight woozy feeling, a feeling of sexual hunger.

Now ladies the question.

How can you best describe the moment your body says "oh yes we getting freaky" and the feelings both mental and physical that happen in that moment.

Pretty much broken down.

Your senses are heightend. Every single touch is electric. There's a rush. A dopamine high. A primal feeling. Like every system is turning on.

Ha maybe that's where the phrase is coined from.

I apologise on behalf of man kind if you've never felt as I describe above. Your truly missing out on being in tune with your body.

Most of the time when I'm getting freaky with Rubik it's during the night, both of us just wake up horny.

I dunno when it comes to meeting someone, never really thought about it

" You’re truly missing out on being in tune with your body."

This is similar to that mentality and unnecessary added pressure to make a woman orgasm first. Just because this is how YOU experience it, doesn’t make it the only way. Others can experience it completely different and not be out of tune with their bodies.

You’ve got the wrong person. I mentioned nothing about a romantic novel. I simply stated I did wonder. Why isn’t indicative of any one opinion. I simply, as stated, wondered.

This isn't how experience arousal... For a start I can and often get aroused without getting a boner. That's something I have control over. Like most men I'd say.

In not sure about the dopamine either. Dopamine's role in arousal isn't as clear as testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, oxytocin, and vasopressin for example.

I definitely don't get woozy.

Arousal for me is a sensory experience.

For me it’s completely different depending on the setting.

Am I on my own or do I have company. Is that company in the fb/fwb category or the feelings category. What’s the atmosphere - are we going romance or daring, familiar or new?

Arousal might be a physical thing but it’s definitley connected to so much more than that and my body will respond accordingly. Ultimately yes I guess, end result is the same, the fast breathing, warm feelings in my lady bits and whatnot but the other bits you describe in your OP might differ.

.

I bet you didn't think this thread would go the way it has, did you OP? :D

When I'm aroused, there are lots of little things. I can noticeably feel my cheeks become warmer, more flushed. My voice lowers, I try and cough or drink or stop talking so that tell isn't as obvious. Sometimes I can feel these little flutter. Physically, there's that feeling of the slickness between my thighs growing and if I'm wearing knickers I'll try to subtly shift as it can become slightly irritating. A hot reminder but not that comfortable...

And sometimes, when I'm incredibly aroused and thinking about how much I want to be with the other person, I find it difficult to concentrate on what they're saying. My eyes wander to their lips and I think about kissing them. Being kissed by them. I notice their hands more, the way my name sounds on their lips.

It can look like I'm briefly disinterested, bored almost but it's so far from the truth. The truth is, in that moment of time, I'm thinking of very little but them. Undressed. Their body pressed against mine. Until I will myself to focus once more and apologise for not hearing what they've said. :D

Long live the romantic souls amongst us.

My boudoir - S Wales

Well I popped in to tell you OP but I got distracted by the most bizarre argument I’ve ever seen, and now I can’t remember what I was going to say

This was entertaining though.

My vaginal walls and clitoris throb, and I get an ache in my lower abdomen.

"We all know when a guy gets aroused there's a physical change in that he gets hard.

But right before that happens there's a dopamine rush like no other. The brain fires up, you can feel the blood rushing to the Penis. All of a sudden, there's a literal excited feeling. A slight woozy feeling, a feeling of sexual hunger.

Now ladies the question.

How can you best describe the moment your body says "oh yes we getting freaky" and the feelings both mental and physical that happen in that moment."

I'd expect that you'd get other changes, such as increased adrenaline and blood pressure, more than dopamine, though dopaminergic and serotonergic systems will be active. You'll probably get more dopamine released from orgasm

"For me it’s completely different depending on the setting.

"

Agree with this. Feelings vary depending on the connection with the person & the type of situation involved. Generally a sense of anticipation (in the best sense), pulsing below, a rush sensation, tensed legs, breathing faster, happy aura

Gone and completely forgotten.

I don't think my body makes dopamine anymore.

"Minge twinge

But what about “minge cringe”? Minge wanted to autocorrect to mingle. Mingle cringe is a defo a thing for me. I’ll be in the corner. "

As long as it’s not minge whinge, I reckon I can cope with mingle cringe and minge cringe. But I’d rather have minge twinge (not mince twinge which MY autocarrot selected for me. That would go with mingle cringle perhaps?)

"I too get a blood rush to my clit, tingles in vagina and bum, jelly legs, mild euphoria and a swoony feeling of walking on air. Both sets of lips plump up and my pupils dilate. Rushing tingles throughout my body. If it's the right person "

Put far more eloquently than I ever could, but ditto.

Really? That's how you honestly feel before you get a hard on?

Pretty much broken down.

Your senses are heightend. Every single touch is electric. There's a rush. A dopamine high. A primal feeling. Like every system is turning on.

Ha maybe that's where the phrase is coined from.

I apologise on behalf of man kind if you've never felt as I describe above. Your truly missing out on being in tune with your body.

Nah, I'm going to hazard a guess that I'm not the odd one out here.

To be honest mate I'd say you were, he has verbalised it, maybe a little flowery but basics are there. it's more than just I'm hard.

As flowery as it is I'm still saying that description is how the minority would describe getting a hard on."

That's not what I'm saying, I'm saying that is the effect of body and brain flushing with chemicals it's a mechanical process that happens, he said it a little flowery but you're not paying attention to your body and mind if you think that doesn't happen use other words. Soon as you get aroused and get hard body flushes with chemicals

OP - that sounds awesome. Be as “flowery” as you like. Far preferable to

“I’m hard. Can I play with your fanny” (yes that is a direct quote from someone).

I get different feelings depending on who, and how much I’m turned on.

I’d spend the time typing them out, but Infear my may be accused of being Barbara Cartland or something
