Ok we all know the importance of keeping the bum in good shape especially as the years are advancing. What do you recommend specifically apart from general gym and the like to keep that asset in good shape? I never thought I ask this but like to plan ahead and gor maintenance purposes

I’d say use these two as a core exercise for glutes

Move on to lunges when you’ve built up to doing hip thrusts and squats

Always wobble your bum when brushing your teeth. Good daily exercise. That's what I do, and my bum is nice and squidgy, with soft cheeks that part easily so that... erm...

...

...wobble your bum.

Try body weight squats but rather than up and down sit in the crouch position for up five minutes at a time, firstly this is good for aligning bowels, keeps you regular, you can thank me later and also it allows the spine hips etc to align, a lot of people with what you could say are less than a ten in the derrière dept have shocking posture so strengthening the muscles around core and thighs will also help give you that great ass

I'm not really sure what helps other than targeting them at the gym. Maybe bodyweight squats but keeping the tension on the way up and way down. If you by resistance bands, you can put around your knees and do hip thrusts. Also, without the resistance band, shoulders bridges are good for activating the glutes.

Other than that, I imagine general walking can help keep them in shape

Somewhere

RDLs and real leg raised bulgarian split squats, far superior for glutes than normal squats.

One of the exercises for the bum is to "walk" with it rather than legs. Sit down on the floor and you find it easy to walk back and forth down the hall or the length of the room.

About 3 feet away from the fence

Obviously squats. They're good for your legs as well, and the key to a good ass is good thighs.

As a general aesthetic tip, never sit on surfaces outside your home with thin or no overwear/underwear, without something to cover the seat. You'll be surprised how dirty public benches and seats are, and nobody wants to see a spotty bottom

To grow or maintain glute gains, exercise combined with a good story that allows for glute growth is preferable. Just like any other muscle group.

For glute growth you well need to have a program that prioritizes glute gain. Note that muscle reacts to a stmulas innorder to overcome a future load. To maintain one needs to keep a similar stimulas at the same or similar intercity.

Most leg exercises are compound movements meaning that they use multiple muscle groups. Thusly as a result it is very hard to grow glutes in isolation.

Good exercises

--------------

1) squats

Pros: probably the best exercise for the glutes

Cons: a quad dominant exercise. Potentially verry injurious if performed incorrectly. People often don't go deep enough or heavy enough.

2) box step ups

Pros: scientifically uses the greatest account of musckr fibre activation. Can be done by anyone.

Cons: not the best exercise for glute growth.

3) hip thrusts

Pros: works the posterial chain (carths, hamstring, glutes) depending on foot placement is a glute dominant exercise.

Cons: depending on how it is done it can be extremely uncomfortable. With a bar it can be nicknamedc the penid killer. Because that is where the bar sits. To do with a bar if onky advanced enough to do so, you will. Probably need to g9 2-3 tubes heavier than you think nectar is such a short distance off the ground to the highest point. People don't go heavy enough because it is so uncomfortable.
