I delivered a parcel today to a lady, maybe 10 years older than me.

I thought she was absolutely stunning, really beautiful with a gorgeous smile & stunning blue eyes, I swear our eyes met for the briefest of seconds & we both smiled, I don't smile very often during my working day lol.

Anyway, my question, how do you think she would react if I looked her up on socials & dropped her a msg? Just to say how beautiful I thought she was & how she brightened up my day for a minute with her gorgeous smile.

I most probably won't, but hypothetically, how would you react?

I think there is a high chance she would find it creepy and it would unnerve her.

What on earth are you thinking?

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I'd think it was weird, and probably against some kind of (possibly only work but even so) rules.

I'd also seriously consider reporting you to your employers. Have you even considered how vulnerable this would make a woman feel. You know where she lives and you would have deliberately sought her out on social media

Chances are you'd run the risk of a meeting with your boss.

Just forget about it.

Yes the more I think about this the more I am you are even considering it.

You know where she lives and you know her name. To then look her up on socials…just no.

I have a regular delivery guy, he’s hot and we always have a little look and ‘eye flirt’ and I’d still be creeped out if he looked me up on socials.

Also to add… if taken badly she’ll know that you know where she lives, and that could massively unsettle her and inflict distress upon her, especially as it’d be something that she never intended for

Well, I never really considered it, it was purely hypothetical, I don't even know her name anyway.

She smiled because she was a being a pleasant human being - it was not an invite, I fucking guarantee it. Anyone (deliveroo, Uber driver, police officer) when doing their job that gathers personal information in order to identify someone and make contact is a fucking creep. That woman would be scared by your actions. It’s harassment for fucks sake. Give your head a wobble you muppet.

I suspect given he's now gone, it was "hypothetical" because he thought we were going to react better than we did.

Hypothetically.......

I'd ensure you realised the error of your ways and learnt valuable lessons about privacy, trust, boundaries and employment, now and in the future.

I'd also suggest Pornhub is not a real life documentary on how to seduce women.

And that you should stay away from porn, it's given you an unhealthy understanding of "relationships" and how to build them.

It's creepy as fuck. Give your head a wobble.

That concludes my Ted Talk.

In his original post he said he "most probably won't" which means there was no hypothetical about it and he was definitely considering it

Probably was happy that whatever it is she ordered arrived and was smiling because of that! Also, if you don't know her name how was you going to look her up? I mean I know I'm good at finding people but I at least know a name! And why was there no name on said parcel?! I mean you are gone now but so many questions.

But in answer to your question: NO!
