Cat treatment injury

Ok....should have worn my body armour and welding gloves earlier.

TRIED to give one of my cats her 6 monthly flea treatment - (the kind that comes in a fiddly little squeezy bottle that, according to the instructions, is easy to apply).

My hands are now shredded, got cuts n scratches all over my forearms, one thigh and my neck!

The living room blinds are in tatters, vase knocked over, water n destroyed flowers all over the place, coffee cup on floor in pieces, dining chair knocked over and cat currently hiding under the sofa spitting and hissing violently.

My question is: what colour holdups best disguise the deep gouges on my thighs?

wonderland.

Dark ones for the hold ups... as to the cat. Having 4 bengals in my household.. I feel your pain... I've learnt that a towel wrap works best and you need 2 people to do it

Paphos

Yep, towel wrapped tightly around them.

Scruff of the neck works well in my Bengal (but oddly, not the two Burmese!)

Or, get them when they are asleep!

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Burgundy. Probably.

Kettering

And that's why dogs are so much better than cats!

Yeah.... black opaque holdups, I'd say.

I distract my cat with treats. But he's become wise to the rubber gloves I wear to do it.

Tried sneaking up on her, everything was ok until the pipette got near her neck (I think cats can smell the flea treatment liquid) then all hell broke lose

Note to self, do NOT attempt this with the other cat while wearing a short skirt n summer blouse
