What is love?

From the land of haribos.

In my view what love is, it isnt so much about giving things, whilst it kind of is a sign. I wouldnt class it as that. I think that people are forgetting what it is.

I would rather say that love is when you care for another person and your loved ones, what is your view about what it is?

There is a difference from being in love and loving someone. For me there is anyway

I love my family.

However a partner is different. It’s the unconditional side for me.

I have always said loving someone when things are easy is easy, however your depth of love will be tested when the not so good times come

Sagittarius A

A biochemical evolutionary phenomena that facilitates the successful propagation of our species. Ooh so romantic!

I like Sternberg's triangular theory of love contemporary versions have also evolved to encompass Poly-relationships.

It identifies 8 forms of love depending on the content of passion, intimacy and commitment in relationships. I find it quite comprehensive when considering relationships and far more helpful than labels like FWB, FB or hierarchical terms like primary, secondary. I've found it really useful when looking at relationships with partners to get a shared understanding of how we see our relationship and each others needs and desires.
