Bodmin Ban Prom

Reports from Bodmin College, famous for sightings of a big black cat called the Bodmin Beast, that those with bad behaviour or attendance less than 92% are banned from attending the school prom, which is designed to celebrate the end of exams, graduation and were parents desperately try to oudo each other with the fanciest mode of transport, suits and dresses, to make the poor even more insecure.

Now at Bodmin, the parents and excluded kids are organizing an alternative prom for those unable to go to the official one.

Many of these kids are kids with ADHD and similar and not bad kids. Another example of mainstream education not helping kids who do not fit the mould..

It's all over the news

Personally I think prom needs to be banned altogether but if you're going to hold the event include everyone except the axe murderers

Proms are stupid American imports. Just grab a bottle of Duamond White cider, a packet of three and disappear behind the bikes shed like in the good old days.

It’s not uncommon for schools to prevent kids with poor attendance from attending the prom.

its normal for the poor behaviours, non attendance etc not to be allowed to attend the prom, it was a kind of bribe!

prom should be banned,

there is not enough support for SEND kids - thats true

Nafferton, nr Driffield.

Probably the alternative 'Prom' will be the better one and all the people from the main one will sneak off to the alternative one.

How do you know they have ADHD and are not bad kids?

Do you know this for a fact?

What about the ones who have good attendance and behaviour should they be made to feel bad for this? They have worked hard and should be rewarded for good behaviour.
