"The American State of Louisiana, famous for it's Mardi Gras which actually means 'Fat Tuesday' is putting into Law that The Ten Commandments, revealed by Noah on Mount Sinai, must be displayed in every school classroom in Louisiana. What is your favourite commandment and why? What commandment should have been included. ? It's all over the news " Not Noah, I think you meant Moses

" Not Noah, I think you meant Moses You’re not wrong. It was Moses. The politician who put this legislation into law was quoted as saying, “if you want to respect the rule of law, you’ve got to start from the original lawgiver, which was Moses” who got the commandments from God. For a country that has long “provided” an enshrined concept in the very first freedom guaranteed by the First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.”, it’s all a bit confusing. Or maybe its politicians are all a bit confused. Either way, their forefathers must be screaming from their graves wondering where this all has gone tits up. " Are you of American origin? You seem to be well versed in the US constitution.

We've been eroding religion and religious institutions in this country for 50 years. Not sure where it's taking us is a good place.

" Have we been eroding religion or are we better able to scrutinize what is advocated by religion? In a free society such ideologies should be able to stand up to scrutiny. We humans have been constantly changing religion and notions of god since time began, why should we stop because an American politician who probably still thinks jesus was a white guy.
