Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Lots of unpleasantness around today. So, on let's escape from it all.

Post your pleasant memories - no nastiness, snide comments, criticism of anyone or anything.

I loved waking up to the sun through my blinds this morning. Had a lovely trip shopping, even if it was just food, and ended the day with an hour's zumba class, followed by an hour's African dance and hula session.

I loved walking the woofers in the woods tonight, made me smile them all playing and having fun, loving the lighter nights

Which shop did you get it from? Have breakfast at Town Mill Bakery tomorrow. It's one of my favourite places: as much toast as you can eat with their homemade peanut butter, jam and butter.

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

a lovely day with my wee boy (even the dentist visit didn't spoil that)

followed up by a great, really hard tough spin class, then beating my personal best on the cross trainer, and doing a 5km run on the treadmill, home to the nicest shower and now chilling

I chased a guy after he'd got off the train to catch him up and give him back the Blackberry that he had left on the chair. Managed to get back on the train before it pulled out the station too.

Bought some sour cream and chive dip which I had with carrot sticks. Not had any of that in ages and forgotten how much I love it!

I just ate my daughter's Milky Bar Easter Egg and it was bloody lovely. She had two of them and Siren ate our egg, so I thought it's open season on easter eggs in our house.

You should have gone just a bit further to the one closest to the Pelly Gallery. Really lovely stuff in there.

Fair play to you for doing that. Simple acts re-affirm our belief in each other.

Mine is anticipation, although it has happened lots of times before. Tomorrow night is Tunes in the pub. Just a few blokes sitting in an almost empty pub playing tunes. At some point i will slowly start playing 2 chords, C and F over and over again. Slowly. My mate will start building up a long lead guitar solo. Eventually he will play a certain riff, i will tilt back my head, open my mouth and out comes "Once upon a time you dressed so fine" and for the next 8 minutes or so, Like a rolling stone takes over. Whatever bad stuff is going on in my life, that song just covers it up and my world is good.

I have two large easter eggs watching me, the anticipation of opening them and getting that first smell of chocolate is great.

Yesterday I felt honored to be able to make sure one of my patients pass away pain free and with dignity.
