I didn't join until I was 52. My age has never been an issue or even a topic of conversation.

It's only an issue if you make it one.

People have age limits for many reasons that don't include stamina or looks so telling anyone to change their preferences to suit you is never a good idea.

I can tell you why I have my cut off at 54. I used to have it open to 59, but in my personal experience the worst messages I got were from men 55+. They were explicit and a bit gross and I found them pushy.

(Some of 55+ plus guys were lovely and if I’ve chatted back they can still message)

I’m sure other people have a different experience to me and I am aware I’m making a sweeping generalisation.

It's the first veri that's the difficult one.

I raise my lower age filter every year but that is so there is always a 10 year buffer between anyone I meet and my kids ages and not related to my age. My upper age filter is irrelevant as I've never been with a woman older than me at any stage in my life.
