I doubt you will get much agreement on here. Apparently it is the fault of the poor and they have choices and need to sort it out themselves not bleed the country dry.

Haven't seen this much vitriol against poorer people since the 1980s. I find that more disgusting, personally.

Miss Cheekychops started a thread about propaganda earlier on and I think that this government has been very good at issuing propaganda and getting people to turn against each other.

Middle classes (hate that phrase) being turned against the lower classes (hate that phrase even more).

we're all in this together (my arse), more so if you're of a low income or unfortunate enough to be in receipt of benefits.

Maybe bitter but being honest sick of folk saying poor onky themselves to blame and that are all lazy point i try to make is if the shit hits fan for those slagging off poor will they then say its their own fault.

No I didn't think so, so why would they pay the bedroom tax?

I work my arse off all week & have nothing to show for it after everythings paid up & the cupboards are stocked. Such is life im afraid,though this tax wont effect me as i cant afford a big better house to have to luxury if a spare room.

Absolutely! I wish on a daily basis that I could sit here deluded, oh yes someone else will pay my cost of living, why on earth should I not contribute to it
