"Oh which one did you wear? " My foundation shade has changed drastically. I've found my perfect shade, and the formula actually feels better than it used to do but fuck me it stinks like paint and I can't bear it.

"What do you do when your favourite cosmetics change their formula and it no longer works for you?" Panic lol. If I find a product I love, I try to buy it in bulk before it’s inevitably discontinued. The best stuff always goes first. I think cosmetic manufacturers only make so many units of a product and when it’s gone, it’s gone. The replacements that are usually marketed as ‘improved formulas’ very rarely are

"In my case it's that my skin tone has changed and my beloved foundation (No. 7) now makes me look like I'm aping Donald Trump, but I'm not so bloody pale to be the only shade below that. And choosing foundation is a pain in my arse at the best of times. (I was inspired by Chanel because I've heard a lot of complaints that their bronzer has gone to shit. I don't use bronzer, as it happens)" I find a lot of Chanel foundations oxidise, as do Diors and Lancôme’s. YSL have some very light shades and Nars do too

It's not as heavy feeling as it used to be, but I can't be doing with the smell)

The Maybelline SuperStay skin tint is meant to be fab too but I haven’t tried that yet.
