I’m presuming most people who are now looking for a meet simply do so by DM with people that have been chatting with?

In the past (sound like a right old twat now) the meet now function was actually beneficial and anyone who posted actually wanted to meet.

Now it seems like people just join, post a meet and you can tell a mile off it is just nonsense. Anyone else think you should need to have one verification or have been a member for at least a month to post a meet?

When I first came on here about 16 years ago they were actually from people who did fancy a meet and were letting mainly their friends know.

As a single guy on here it’s near on impossible to get meets. But the events/meet now functions don’t work for me. It’s gotten worse tbh, usually could have an adult chat with someone in email then decide to meet or not but now I seem to be getting more fake accounts or fraud ones that real active members.

Only places I seem to get sure meets is attending events which is not always suitable for me.

Not me. I think anyone should be able too. It’s up to the people who are going to reply to those ‘ads’ to wonder if it’s sus’ or not.

This place would encourage people to join in with what everyone else is doing and enjoying.

Tbh I onky use rhe meet post facility to make potential contact with others if I'm going to an event.

Never have I woken up in the morning and had the urge to try and meet a total stranger out of the blue.

If I woke up with that much of a horn I'd message someone I already knew and had met before.
