Interesting debate with someone earlier….what constitutes “nerd”? I know here there’s a lot of people that do “nerdy” things but what constitutes a nerd?

Oh Wikipedia says "overly intellectual, obsessive, introverted, or lacking social skills...may spend inordinate amounts of time on unpopular, little known, or non-mainstream activities...described as being shy, quirky, pedantic, and unattractive."

Well I would use the term nerd to describe someone who has an interested in a certain subject.

I do often describe myself as a nerd with boobs.

Mrs here. Highly attracted to nerds but couldn’t define what one is like!

It’s like a nerd has a character that can only be perceived as being ‘nerdy’! I love it

I saw someone’s profile that said “I go for the nerdy types” I mean I can talk for hours about black holes, Star Wars, marvel, the list goes on!

Cattleprod? No, that'll get hacked.

Sharpened stick? That's a solution of a badly worded spec when what they wanted was a cattle prod.

Food? That's sadly true.

Once had a very seductive description of a jaffa cake - couldn't see me for the dust
