Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I find many people inspiring and I know I have done my small bit of inspiring over the years but this is a first. I've had a message telling me my profile is inspirational.

Who/what do you find inspirational?

Stella Artois. It's amazing how much I think I can achieve on my 7th pint. Bloody marvellous.

I haven't been inspired in that way yet - I'll give it a go.

little house on the praire

There is an old peoples complex where i live, one of the old mens wife died from cancer. He used ot make homemade jam and sell it for cancer research. Every saturday come rain or shine he was out with his table for years, think he got an mbe.

The common person who just goes out and does good in the community, not those that throw money at things but the ones that get of their arses and actually do something

Yes and there are many more of them than we ever get to hear about.

Please do.....but be warned. By the ninth pint it all goes down hill. Any plans to climb Everest have been replaced by merely getting home lol.

Other than you, Polk and any others members of the dry food posse, I think Maya Angelou tops my list.

On a personal note, I guess I shall continue to keep both of my parents on a joint pedestal.

They could both occupy a pedestal of their own as individuals, but as a couple they have, in my eyes, always amounted to more than the power of two.

I was inspired by the great Soxy to put that on my profile.

I'm always inspired by the children that I work with many of whom have gone through some horrendous experiences in their short lives but they still manage to survive and always have a smile and often a cuddle for me when I see them.

There's a difference between the people that inspire me and those I admire. The people that inspire me are the ones I do my work for. Not enough space to list the people I admire, but very few are famous.
