If you think the uk weather is warm I would suggest you may need to reset your body’s thermostat…… temperature for all of june so far has been 4 to 5 degrees below average

There are no reasons why you *should* like it. Each to their own. But I hate to think what you'll be like if we ever get anywhere near resembling summer temperatures though. My heating still comes on of an evening, it's that fricking cold!!

Work outside all year round in all the weather, then you wouldn’t even need to ask the question.

I actually get it OP.

British 20+ degrees (some parts of Scotland are different) tends to feel sticky and heavy.

Southern coastal France (Atlantic or Med), and most of coastal Spain can be 25+ (even into the 30s) and not have that heavy, sticky, mentally oppressive thing.

It's partly humidity, but I think there's more, and I have no idea what.

But I get it - 20+ here can have that effect.

Sat here wearing a sweater - not convinced that it is warm, though there is a blue sky.

I don't like the UK hot weather, it really gets to me, abroad, totally different (I mean we are talking less than 30 here), I absolutely hate UK summers (when it makes an appearance) x

It is only nice in warm countries. England is just depressing as fuck so you feel miserable with anything that isn't optimal like temperatures

Doncaster

1, I don't have to wear 4 layers of clothing to step outside my door.

2, the warmth and sunshine just get my juices flowing

3, my clothes always smell so much nicer when dried outside in the sun.

4, I can walk barefoot and actually touch the grass with my feet.

5, drive my car with the windows down

6, fall asleep in my hammock in my backyard.

7, summer means longer days

8, I love BBQs

9, most people seem to be a lot happier, so better vibes all round,

I've been living in the UK since 99 and still can't used freezing my arse off 9 months of the year.

I was definitely made for a warmer climate.
