And other unattractive traits.

Call them red flags or whatever you want but someone who is bitter is hard to ignore isnt it?

Do I sometimes apear like this? Probably, and it’s hard to admit.

Sagittarius A

I'm all for a complete range of human emotions and believe integrating what Jung called the shadow (the things we feel, but suppress due to a belief that we shouldn't feel that way - whether through societal expectations or otherwise). Is a positive thing; one that gives us awareness, immediacy and control over our behaviours. People who have that quality tend to take responsibility for their feelings and maintain healthy boundaries in relationships - in my experience.

However, if an aspect predominates someone's persona to such a degree that there is no space for anything else, that can become a problem and perpetual bitterness can be draining to be around. In fairness so can perpetual happiness or optimism.

So for me, occasional bitterness is just being human and I would want any partner or friend to be able to express how they feel around me.

Authenticity is probably the most attractive personality trait for me. Everything else is meaningful, because it is authentic.

Woody, you don't come across bitter at all, it is definitely not a word I'd use to describe you.

I’ve not experienced any bitterness on here, mine or anyone else’s.

If your emotions are real OP I’m happy. The only thing I ever ask of friends is to be real.

Ps I don’t think you’re bitter at all

I'll add to what others have said Woody. You're not bitter.

Sensitive to how confusing life's games are, but you don't go to bitter in any real sense.

Energetically bewildered, but not bitter x.
