Depends on the social. Yesterday I wore a short playsuit, white base but decorated with myriad multicoloured pictures, all the colours of the rainbow. With mock garter seamed tights and a pair of white, blue and red trainers.

I'll wear what suits the occasion and venue.

Having turned up wearing leggings and a t-shirt and a black dress with no underwear before, I'll probably go for the black dress.

With underwear.

Tight fitting dress, hold ups, heels and red lipstick. On saying that I once arrived in Wellington boots cos it was so slippy outside although I did change over to heels once inside.

This depends so much on time of year, time of day and location.

My preference for socials is a coffee so skinny jeans, converse and t-shirt or a dress and flip flops if it’s hot.

I never wear heels for that first social, I’m pretty tall and have made the mistake before and turned up in heels only to find the guy that said he’s 6ft is actually 5’8

Location & weather both big variables (put a badge on it, and call me a woman), but likely to keep it classic: dark navy jeans, brown boots and a white cotton-oxford.

I feel good in it and don't feel over or under-dressed in most places.

Usually a dress, some heels and nice matching undies just incase although the socials tend to be just socials so the sexier stuff gets saved for a later date.

"Club sexy as I dare "

See, this is one of the things that puts me off going to clubs. I don’t know what the hell to wear.

Guys don’t really have the option of ‘dressing sexy’. So you either end up looking like you’ve just dressed for a regular night out, while the women wander around in their lingerie, or you turn up in a sharp suit - completely overdressed.

And that’s without even getting into the dilemma of where to put nice clothes when taking them off (because you really want them to still be there when you’ve finished …)

You think you guys have problems. What about us women who don't have a clue about dressing sexy or just feel uncomfortable. I can guarantee I'd look more awkward than any guy!
