Ok, so have you ever been on a meet/date/whatever - with someone and it all went horribly wrong?

what happened - what did you do?

My recent encounter had a full pint of beer deposited in my lap! , even my pants were wet !!!

The poor guy was mortified -

Doesn't generally go horribly wrong for me until the pants come off actually...

Plausible deniability and a solid exit strategy are key.

There’s the time my date fell asleep in the pub (shouldn’t have been drinking on top of her painkillers, apparently). The time my date turned out to be my wife’s hairdresser (we were mid-divorce at the time). The time I turned up for an MMF threesome and the woman was heavily pregnant (she hadn’t mentioned that) and her man got so freaked out by the sight of another hard cock that he fell over backwards through a glass coffee table (his threesome fantasy should probably have stayed a fantasy).

Three stories is probably enough. But I have lots more.

Every time I leave the house to be honest.

I spill something, fall off or into something, snort-laugh, clothing malfunctions, get lost/get found, talk like an overexcited chipmunk.

I don’t want the ground to open up though. It’s just part of who I am.

A hole in the ground would just be *another* thing to trip up and fall over.

Tonypandy.

Last night when I had a massive bout of depression and royally fucked up the friendship with my FWB / play partner.

Would be very happy for the floor to swallow me up right now, as there is no chance of rectifying this one. Licking my wounds right now

(No, I don't need sympathy, not do I want to talk about it thanks)

Asgard

Met a lovely lady once for a meal to begin with but the conversation had lead us both to believe more would happen. I'd even packed an over night bag and pre booked a hotel. Met said lady, and it was awkward.

Unbelievably awkward. She was very clearly a nervous individual, the conversation didn't flow. The was no eye contact. It just felt off.

I ended up driving us both back to where we live and dropped her off.

Where she then asked if I was coming in.

Awkward.

I politely declined, gave her a kiss on the cheek and left.

Lesson learned. My first meet is only a social (drink, coffee) and no matter the conversation never a plan more will happen.

I still cringe to this day.

Not to worry, if everything had gone alright, you were going to be wet there anyway

I know you clearly said you don't want talk about it, but don't be too hard on yourself. We've all been there at some point. I certainly have many a time, also due to mental health issues. Have faith that it will work itself out
