Rave unintentionally changed modern western culture and helped to facilitate the fall of communism.

It in the UK also helped to alter club culture. (Hitman and her episodes are really good at snapshotting this change).

We all know what one looks like but In the modern day what essentialy is the difference between raves and moden day clubbing?

Raves and clubbing were 2 different cultures back in the day a rave would go for 24.48 sometimes 72 hours in a field in a warehouse no dress code no conformity no bouncers. Just free sports living life. Clubbing was the opposite smart dress larest designer clithing aftershaves perfume hair make up had to be perfect.only strict I'd checks bouncers controlled the drugs djs wanted to be superstars but most were divas. The rave days were the best. Musically and culture.

There are a lot of documentaries about it. I am watching one right now called Chemical generation by Boy George.
