So come on Germany, after all the Jocks want anyone who plays England to win so it's reasonable for me to support Germany

We may not have the best football team in the world but we've certainly got the best anthem....just wait and hear the passion and pride when the fans sing x

Doesn't it work the opposite way round as well? Andy Murray is famously British when he wins and Scottish when he loses!

Its not that us scots dont support england. It's the insufferable media. In my personal opinion the media is designed and thrives on this hatred bitterness and creating a divide. Don't be fooled into thinking every Scotsman want England to lose every match they play. Yes us Scots fans are proud with fire in our belly and although we have always called England " the auld enemy " the rivalry, as far as I'm concerned has always just been light hearted banter to keep the flame alive. I have family in England and English friends. I holiday in England regularly as its an amazing, beautiful country and have always found the English warm and welcoming. So I will be wishing England all the best of luck throughout the tournament. By the way we were piss poor last night and were given a lesson in football by a brilliant German side. But still going to enjoy the rest of our games. Onwards and upwards......hopefully lol

Bad result ,last night but Germany were good

Doesn't make too much difference to your chances of qualifying , just win your next 2 games

See you in The Final

I love Scotland and the Scots and always support them if they arent playing England - but the Germans gave everyone a warning that they’re back. The Scots fans gave everyone a masterclass on how to represent your country whilst abroad - as they always do.

Agreed on all counts. I had a little tear in my eye when I saw a Scottish fab and a German fan, in the crowd together and embracing as they sang their anthems. That's what football should be about

Exactly. Love seeing moments like this. More of this and less of the throwing cafe chairs at each other cause they’ve had 2 pints.
