I’m too old and along my own path of enlightenment to deal with drama.

How do you deal with unnecessary drama?

Sometimes it’s no so easy as to say ‘walk away’

Ie what if it’s a loved one or a close family member constantly embroiled in it? In that case not so easy to abandon or walk away from, but still equally as distressing to witness

Yeah that’s the thing I don’t understand why some people keep having to involve others for no reason

I don’t. Had a lovely woman last year who became weird (I won’t tell you what happened, I am the hero of this story.) so we parted ways over a couple of text messages…I truly have no idea what happened but I new it was unsuspected drama.

I used to think staying out of other people's drama was easy but when they insisted on dragging me into it my next approach was to warn others what they could be getting into.

I don't even do that now because it's pretty obvious some people live for it and it's like oxygen to them.

I am so disinterested in drama that those that know me rarely bring it to my door

It's predominantly a result of arse-hat behaviour on one side and over reaction on the other side

Fuck off with it

Personal life I just walk away. I can't be arsed with drama and my life is not an ensemble piece in the Royal Court (though I don't rule out the everyman).

Professionally I take time out to overreact and fume and maybe even cry a little cry, then I calm the hell down and go back to my desk and deal. I just need to overreact a bit first.

If it's obvious that the job is all drama all the time then I'll quit, life is too short for that type of shenanigans.

I try to cut myself off from people who seem to always bring drama.

I did with a woman I was friends with, she used to fall out with everyone and then blame everyone else.

I just got sick of it all and got rid.

There's a few profiles on here I'd swerve because they make me feel as if they'd bring lots of drama.

Drama towards me - sometimes walk away, sometimes fight my corner.

Other people's dramas - stand at the sideline and encourage them with over the top clapping and cheers
