What I know it due to the jet stream cause cold air from the north mixing with the heat in the med causing this mixer of wet and cold weather

We don't like using slug pellets and whatnot. We worry about the birds eating the slugs. That said, our garden birds far prefer the bird feeder, not the living foodstuff marauding the garden
