Why all the beard hate?

I’ve seen loads of profiles that stipulate, categorically, that they will not meet men who have beards or any sort of facial hair.

Beards are cool. I have a beard and I look bloody gorgeous.

Beards are cool for those that lobe them. Some men do look nice with a beard.

I dislike being poked by a beard when kissing or being devoured by a beard owner. As that’s been my experience with every bearded men, I’ve decided they simply aren’t for me.

It’s just another preference choice.

Why waste energy on those that exclude you for that one little thing. You won’t change their minds.

Put your mojo towards those that include you in their preferences.

Wondering why someone doesn’t like something is just a waste of time.

By the same token, I've seen lots of profiles that prefer beards over clean shaven men and I think you will have as well. It's just always easier for the exclusionary preferences to stick in our minds because we are fickle beings.

I don’t see them as sell out as some may be fast beard growers.

I have a friend that I have never fancied. He’s handsome, funny, a great friend but I’ve never looked at him with any interest because he has a beard. Recently he shaved it for a wedding he attended. I couldn’t believe three days later his full beard was back. Those minutes he spent beard free, I suffered fanny flutters thinking about him… until it grew back again. I am convinced he’s part wolf man.

Each to their own live. Personally I dislike facial hair but hey that’s just me. There’s loads of ladies who love it. I find it hard to get past it myself but that’s no fault of any males on here who have facial hair.

It’s my preference where some men like a lady who is petite or a certain colour hair etc. it’s not a bad thing.

I don't expect women to shave before I start kissing them!

Pretty sure it’s down to personal taste like everything else people find attractive on this site. Personally I love a stubble/short beard…so much so I state it on the profile but long beards aren’t for me either - Mrs

I think a beard can enhance a man’s masculinity plus I like how it tickles me, I also like men with stubble.

Lurking purely for the beard appreciation

As with anything , it’s personal preference . I enjoy some of the lovely comments I’ve had for mine and feel my funny shaped head suits it .

I’d look like an oversized peanut without it x

Found this mentioned on another site. A fella said that he was a pogonophile! Never heard of that before.

It’s long felt to me that beards are a bit of “niche market”. It’s worth being in that niche though, because the women who like do them are usually bloomin’ huge fans of them

Mine’s never coming off - I look (even more) ridiculous without it, and it compliments the chest rug, too.

“All hail the beard”

Nothing wrong with stating preferences

Imagine if people ignored thier preferences and went through with something to please others how rubbish of an engagement would that be

Oh yes!"

I've purred before having fingers run through mine and didn't realise I was doing. She told me afterwards
