"So apart from the usual kind of anniversaries we all remember... Such as weddings/death of a loved one etc Are there any other dates you remember for a specific reason. Happy/not so happy ones. Mine was the other day (9th June). 2 years ago that day I ended up in hospital with a brain tumor that spontaneously hemmoraged. Been a rollercoaster since but was very lucky to have survived and recover from. " I guess from that dark and frightening time it gave you a new appreciation of life. I have a few “anniversary’s” which were life changing. They were dark times but over time they changed me for the better despite the scars. I also have nice ones like date I lost my virginity, met my first and so far only true love, birth of my kids and grandchildren etc

I wish I remembered the date of losing my virginity! I'd have balloons and everything for that day! "I only remember it because it was on a friends birthday, as exciting as it was for all two minutes of it, I don’t think I would break out the party banners and balloons for it!! May I ask how has your take on life been since this traumatic event? Has it given you new lease of life that makes you try to make the most of each given day? | |||

" 2 minutes is decent for the first time haha. Ummm I would really like to say yes... It did for a while. But if I was being really honest my life has been a shit show since that date. On a bunch of meds for life and Had to eventually quit my job. Struggled to get back on my feet and now at the point of probably having to sell my home. Buuut yeah, it kinda makes you not sweat the small stuff in some ways and there's way more important things to consider what's really important to you in life | |||

You have been through a lot these last two years. Words fail you when you hear a story like this. I can only hope things get better for you and life is less of a struggle. You deserve a break. That’s a very positive way to look at it and keep it up and who knows in a year from now you could be writing a post of how you got through another challenge. All the best OP | |||
