I need suggestions for a 4 year old girl's birthday. Not clothes or money/investments. " I'm the same, I hate shopping with passion. I think it's unnecessary to wonder about and spend money only realising later that it was on unwanted stuff. I'd rather go on a cheeky holiday and enjoy a bit of sun soak!! | |||

We've had some excellent fun with stuff off there for our daughter. What is she into? Reading - books? Dancing - some dance lessons/classes as a trial? Music - an annoying thing that makes a noise but she might enjoy, like a small guitar (cheap acoustic, ½ size) or ukulele? These are things my kids would have liked  | |||

Or a puppy-sized collar with a tag on that says “Mummy and Daddy have a big surprise for you”. Or a multipack of stickers and some glitter. If you do like the parents, ask them what they’d recommend! | |||

"I recently bought a girl that age a STEM related toy for her birthday. Her mum reported it was her favourite present and the girl played with it the remainder of the day after opening it. It was a little toolkit with bits and bobs - magnetic connecting bits with bolts and nuts, a drill, etc. , intended for building wherever the imagination dreamed up. I can send you a link if it’s of interest. " Her sister is still at the age of putting everything in her mouth. I'd probably have to keep anything like that at mine, but I like the idea as I preferred tech toys to dolls, etc myself. | |||

"My daughter is into princesses so dolls, doll heads and that stuff. Or Bluey. She loves Bluey. So Bluey toys for her Bluey set or a Bluey set. Or paw patrol. She loves them (especially Skye) so that stuff. Bean bags or chairs with favourite characters on. Books from favourite tv characters. We’ve got some dougie and Bluey books. Spelling game stuff. Numbered blocks. Puzzles. Maybe a sing along frozen or encanto thing. Someone got her that once. Bracelet making set Cashier set Fake food for a toy kitchen Doctors stuff A Football A bike A scooter A mini car to drive in A mirror for a dressing table I think that’s all I can think of without mentioning clothes and stuff" She does love playing doctor.
