We only ever send one if we're going to meet a person. If anybody sends one off their own bat we don't feel we have to return the favour

Like the above poster I will send one if it’s asked for in the profile but usually wait to see if there’s a spark before sending them.

I work in a job where discretion is needed so i don’t send them out willy nilly

Some people ask for it.

I don't think it is but it can be disappointing if you have a long chat , decide you'd like to meet then find you're not attracted facially. Or as happened to us you send face pictures and they immediately delete their profile

I don't send mine unless we have chatted for a while I also don't ask for them. Usually I found it happens anyhow after a bit.

Someone sending me a face pic in a first message would not influence me to answer them if I don't like their profile and I certainly wouldn't be sending one back to them.

I give the recipient the earliest opportunity to decide whether they like what they see enough to respond.

Or, if they find me hideous, they can delete and hide me away in the block lists.

I recently asked for someone to send a recent face pic as the ones on their friends photos were blurry and out of date. They tried to give lots of excuses as to why they didn't know how to .... so I said thanks but no thanks. I'd shared mine.

Yes a face photo is great for a social meet and for friendship etc but I would still like to see more in a profile if it could potentially progress into a sexual meet, we wouldn't meet with people who didn't show their bodies in their profile as it could be a waste of time.

If I am responding to a profile because I like what the person has written and feel I meet their criteria, I will attach one.

If I am just responding because a status update has made me laugh or raises a question I wont. But if I then carry on a conversation with them I will then send a picture so they know who they are talking to.

Sometimes maybe do. Sometimes maybe don’t. It’s not always the first message but tend to get it done pretty early in most conversations. Wouldn’t want to waste anyone’s time if I’m not their type.

I'm in the closet so if someone asked for a fave pic and has sent me one, I will usually oblige, if I am looking for a meet on the day I may put a full night out pic as my profile picture with my fave on it, but I always prefer to see others faces first.

I did once receive a face picture from a friend of mine but did not return a face pic as didn't particularly want that discussion...

When I was meeting, I had a requirement for a pic in first message, if they didn't then I'd expect one in the next message as there is no point talking to someone with the view to shagging if I can't see what they look like, I don't want to chat for ages, they send me a face pic and I'm not attracted to them, usually I have my face on show but if I didn't, I'd always send one as it works both ways x
