Thornaby FC, is now most famous for ditching all of its girls and women's football teams from U7 right up to the women affecting hundreds of girls. The vote was passed by he majority of the committee and the girls need a new club. It s not known why the girls can't kick a football around and enjoy their sort but Tom thinks this won't end well for the committee or Thornaby FC. What's going on here girls. It's all over the news

They've set up a rival team, Tom. It's called AFC Thornaby.

Head coach Billy Rose is struggling to choose between staying with the current set up or moving to the new, more progressive outfit.

He's a Rose between two Thornabys.

They probably can’t afford the staff, instead of crying about it pour money into the club, have fund raisers, ask fans if they’d pay a little more for a ticket.

Their kits a tournament costs etc were covered by subs and fundraising done by the parents. There's more to this story I'm sure.

They narrowly missed promotion for one team in their first season and had actually been at a tournament that day which they won to then come home and find that they couldn't play for their team anymore.

6 members of the committee have since stepped down and local FA branch are I communication with the team.

That being said, if I were a parent, I'd take my child else where regardless of gender.

Evie.
