I'm more a marmalade, or marmite, or peanut butter and banana sort of person. But even then I eat it so infrequently that my bread goes mouldy. Plus, strawberry jam is to sweet (coming from the bloke who puts sweetened condensed milk on his toast), I prefer black current or raspberry.

I love Marmite, but I think my persona here is more nuanced than a simple love/hate.

Probably for all of us....so many different Lounge posters that there will be a wide variety of reactions from each person to each person.

I think I elicit reactions though - either "not that fat twat again - ignore" to "I'm reading but not commenting because he's lost me" to "interesting bloke. Couldn't fuck him" to "I bet he fucks well" to "will I ever be good enough for him?".

So I suspect I'm Marmite in that there's a definite reaction to me.

But it's not Marmite because that reaction can be manifold, not a simple love/hate.
