How do you decide yours?

Is there a certain difference between a 37 & 38 year old that makes you cut off at 37? (Example only)

Or are they decided as a reference to something else? No younger than your fave cousin or not as old as uncle Geoff

It is surprising all those preferences that go up to 99 and yet when I recently posted a thread when I entertained a lady in her 70s I received quite a lot of mail saying how disgusting it was although other guys said 99 many of them wouldn’t engage with a lady that age

Plus people notoriously lie about their age.

I have been chatting to someone recently and they revealed their age to be 52 not 42 as stated on their profile.

Plus I found a couple of ladies (separately) who were in their late 50s and we chatted and hit it off. We’ve known each other a few years now so I decided that maybe I was cutting off too early if I limited to 60

This attraction thing is a bit confusing

Are we talking Fab age one is assuming

A few years knocked off here and their

Usually blokes are found out with the absence of hair

Forty nine seems an age that is used a fair bit

Is being fifty to old to admit

Those seeking friends across age range

To me seems somewhat weird and definitely strange

But each to their own and variety is the spice of life

However making whoopy with a ninety nine year old could be fraught with trouble and strife

So I tend to stick to those who remember Andy Pandy and Stingray

Plus or minus a decade either way

I’m not interested in men younger than me because of the differences we’d be more likely to have in terms of life experiences and where we are at in life. For a man, it's 30-45

You will note though, there isn't an 'only' limit on my age range

My preferences are pretty open. But for the past few months I've been disappointed when I've realised I've passed beyond so many people's 45 upper limit!

That'll teach me to be honest about my age!

That happened years ago with the help of a guy who believed (wrongly!) that he was my Master at the time. He was messaging men on my behalf (without my knowledge or consent), telling them how much of a slut I was and how I would fuck anybody. My now FWB messaged me to let me know that's what was happening, and, after chatting for a while, we decided to meet as it felt like we'd have great chemistry. We were right! Lol. The "Master" guy got a few chosen words from me, and a block, but he is the reason behind me actually meeting my now FWB. As if it wasn't for that initial message, we would have never met - at that time, I was looking for men not older than 50, I think, and he was not messaging any women younger than 50. So a positive thing came up from bad situation, and it made me rethink my age range.

I’ve met people older than my mum and my dad.

One of my current partners is older than my mum. It’s on them. But I don’t want to meet people older than my parents that aren’t interested in meeting me ofc.

I think you will find that we (the 'too old' generation) do not get over excited as the sight of boobs - the eyesight has failed, so we cannot see them (and we are too vain to put our glasses on, if we can even remember where we put them)

Age is a strange one. You could have a mature 20 year old but you could have an immature 20 year old. The same goes for age 40. We've opened our age bracket from 18-75 for choice of younger people and we've went 15 years older than us.

I've developed a bit of a thing for younger guys since I joined fab... My lower limit is 25 because apparently that's when the brain is fully developed and I have so child around that age. So it'll probably go up a year as I get older... I don't want to meet anyone my age or older.

May I ask what the stereotyping is?

We're expected to have certain attitudes, behave a certain way. A lot of people assume men over 60 all need Viagra, older women 'know what they want and how to get it'.

We're all responsible for climate change and house prices and our life was much easier than people have it today.

Ah 'for your age' one of my favourite ways to negate a compliment .

Wait until you get 'still' prefacing compliments. That really makes a woman feel special

yep totally agree age comes with experience sadly for a lot that involves crap sex you'll be surprise how many enjoy crap sex the thank god its over type ...

my age preference is pretty wide open sexual attraction is number one along with the rest of would we be on the same page not just sex wise... the longer ive been on the scene the more selective i get i have moaned lately that i may increase the lower end as younger men seem to be getting more and more childish / penis brain until someone on here said its all ages of men and it got me thinking you know what shes right its all ages not just younger ..

i cant stand immature people i cant stand porn driven sex.... was having a lovely convo with a seemly lovely guy on hear until he felt it was ok to start calling me a slut and i will do what ever he wants ..quite out of the blue too... instant block porn talk always means = crap sex for the woman

im a very open minded broadminded woman have done most things sexually with men and women and very much continue to do so and cant really see that stopping just seeking the same that fits me n hubs dynamic .. age never used to be important but its starting to be now ..social skills as in basic chatting face to face is now affecting all ages alot of men on here (i only meet men on fab) have zero social skills all ages cant even present themselves with a simple profile...

its how you act that really matters be truthful and honest stop the bullshit and stop taking porn so seriously its entertainment not real life and yes age is just a number but at the end of the day a very important number it wont be long before i change mine again at the moment its 26 - 65 im thinking its going to becoming 35 - 55

"Preference for older, however I work on the assumption that most people knock a few years off their age here, so set it lower than it might otherwise be.

No-one older than my parents (who had me young) would be my hard cut off.

Certainly I’ve sometimes perved over a profile and then clocked someone’s age and thought wow, already thought they looked good, now more so.

Re: younger, tend to find my age, men are still fairly immature, in the ‘wow, boobies’ camp as it were. Not so many single bi ladies around so I don’t feel I’m cutting anyone out by not setting it any lower (with the exception of the gorgeous Miss.Bella of course )
