Worthing

A very funny man who I met once after a standup show. He was very polite to his fans and quite humble. Much missed.

Bottom is easily the comedy series I've rewatched the most times - it never fails to make me howl.

I saw him live in the stage version of The New Statesman

He was a fkin hoot

Had the place in uproar

I was genuinely saddened by his passing

It was a suprise to my friends and me on meeting him. So different to his on screen/stage manic persona. Lovely man.

I found Lord Flasheart in Blackadder to be one of his finest moments.

He informed my taste in comedy from about the age of 12 with Kevin Turvey, Dangerous Brothers, etc and was one man who could do no wrong in my book. Colin Grigson is probably my favourite character he played, he's just perfect. A sadly missed talent, but what a legacy he left behind.
