Firstly how are you defining fakes and time wasters?

Maybe ask to meet for a quick cup of coffee quite quickly. You can see if they're who they say they are and establish if they really are interested

Fakes are so easy to spot just don't interact with them.

Time wasters - people can change their mind that's not time wasting, if your enabling a quick wank then you'll have your time wasted.

We go to organised group socials and club nights and make our connections there.

There are usually certain giveaways to fake accounts but I'd rather not let them know how we see through them here on the forum

I've never had to deal with it because I've never engaged with a fake or anyone I would consider a timewaster.

On every thread like this there are some who seem to bump into them every day and some who have never done so there has to be a particular reason for vastly different experiences.

We have thought a few times is the face verification working fully. We have spotted accounts in the past with our pics, semi famous people from twitter and obviously taken from a cam site. But yes they stick out.

We have had what we feel like a LOT of fakes over the last few months.

The only surefire way to avoid them is not to use fab to arrange playdates. But goto clubs exclusively.

We still actively interact and arrange playdates with people off fab but verify pretty quickly that they're real people

Lots of guys posing as f or mf profiles out there! Even verified accounts

We have been on Fab for more than two years next week will be our first couple to couple meet and even though that’s s social, it’s been very difficult to arrange

We would love to attend an organised social. We booked on one earlier this year which was cancelled. The next M.L.S on a date we can not make. We had a late invite to a local one last weekend that we would have loved to attend but because of short notice could not make arrangements.

Our first year on here was pointless as an unforeseen family obligation prevented us from going out.

We have some not so vanilla friends away from Fab and meeting them makes us feel appreciated for who we both are

Pretty easy to spot them to be honest. Best thing to do is set your filters on. That way IF someone contacts you, you’ll know they are either verified or photo verified

One thing that I do find strange is the nunber of accounts with verifications published that are fake accounts. It is obvious that some people will leave fake verifications for some a profile they potentially like or they know how to beat the system. I have been able to spot fake accounts with the image search app. The other day, I saw a profile of Usain Bolt on here. Quite funny.

I’ve been called fake loads of times because I won’t meet immediately, send them a picture of me now this minute or talk dirty via message, I’m a slow burn, I like to take my time & see if people out themselves as idiots before I choose to take it to telegram/text/social.
