If your not having the greatest day today, just think how bad a day our hero’s were having 80 years ago

East of Eden, West of Hell

I can't even begin to imagine how terrifying it must have been.

Just thinking about how much was sacrificed for the liberty of the people makes me want to cry.

Back then people did their duty and were proud to serve their country and protect it and others from tyranny. Now it would be a very different story sadly

Thank you all for your service.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.

Pontypool

In my home town, there is a church in the city centre which was bombed and only the outer walls remain. It's known as the bombed out church. Proper name St Luke's. It's now used for community events, but a very poignant reminder of the devastation and loss of life.

We will remember them.
