I listened to an interesting thing about complacency, whether it is good or bad for you and they talked about several things about it, like,how worried they were that we have become complacent about various things that are going on in the world,like, complacent that the digital ids are coming in for instance.

I must say that I agree there, they also added other things like, stagnation, missed opportunities and regret, of course not everything is negative, they concluded that not all forms of contentment are negative, it is about finding the balance between the 2 and that noone chooses to become complacent.

Here is an interesting thing, did you know that the word complacent is a negative word?

What is your view about it and do you agree with the points about complacency and do you also agree with that you should have a balance of it?

To me complacency and contentment are different.

If you're complacent you're in danger of taking for granted something or someone that could lead to disastrous consequences

Yes, you are right there, the difference between contentment and complacency is a subtle one, being content means being happy too

I also want to add that complacency is a lack of awareness too
