If you receive a first message describing what the sender wants to do to you in detail...

Are you impressed, turned on or just not interested?

A bit presumptuous I think. A bit jarring too, they might be horny as a rutting rhino at their end but that doesn’t mean I am.

The way our bio sort reads, in my head anyways, could be interpreted by some to describe to us their dirtiest thoughts that potentially involve either one, or both of us.

We don't mind anyone describe in detail about what they want to happen, it can show how they like to fuck and it's got to show more imagination that "hi, I would rag your misses" etc

Obviously this is isn't saying it's ok for anyone else, but it is for us, when done right

I was gonna mention this caveat before; there’s a fair few profiles that have said they enjoy that sort of first contact (I guess it’s a good sounding board when choosing who to reply to as well).

Well if theirs not much to go on and you're still interested with nothing much to go on just ask what they are into or strike up a conversation about where they live the weather anything to try and find out whether you would get on, agreed some guys just don't lend themselves to this site, they see it as a sex site with like thinking people but its not, we all require different things from it.

That’s partly the point-how else do you approach virtual strangers WITHOUT some kind of basic pleasantry-and how can somebody say something individual IF YOU DON’T KNOW THEM.

I’m not surprised men get short shrift when they respond to a profile with photos-legs akimbo, details of a woman’s genitalia that belong in a medical text-indicating casual ‘it could be you’ uncomplicated sex -and the moment the guy bites the bullet & ratchets up his language & approach to the visual images he’s seeing HE GETS BLOCKED.

Men may get blocked because of boring messages but women show an equal lack of imagination by show ALL their glory and complain when they get the messages & the approaches they do!

That's what profiles are for. To give you something to actually connect over.

If legs akimbo and no textual content is enough to get you going, then if you fit their preferences shoot your shot the way that makes sense to you in the context.

If someone tells you how they do or don't want to he approached and you decide to ignore that, then it's no surprise there's not a positive response.

It all depends.

Aimless chit chat "how are you, what you been up to" is all well and good but most of the tone sparkles into absolutely nothing. At least if someone is upfront, or at least makes it quite clear they want to meet in the first message, it doesn't sometimes feel quite as much as a waste of time going through pleasantries to find out there's no interest or compatibility.

As the Mrs of the profile I get quite a lot of these messages aimed at me - whilst he's fine with it, it also shows who actually bothers to read our profile and find out what we're looking for and who just hopes I'll find their message such a turn on I'll be round theirs dropping my knickers asap.

C xoxo

How could I be specific if I don’t know them?If a woman’s profile contains nude & explicit photographs of themselves they can’t want anybody approaching them to know anything about them and if you DO pay compliments about her & what you find attractive about her appearance then that doesn’t necessarily lead anywhere either.
