No! We live beyond the moors, on the flat bit between the hills and the coast. We're not far above sea level or actually that far FROM the sea, as the crow flies. Liverpool etc. really isn't far

Been bloody warm on the Isle of Wight for the past couple of weeks.

Got up to about 40 degrees (yes, Celsius) in the garden earlier. The Solent acts as an insulating barrier, which keeps it warm a lot of the time. Real sleep-over-the-covers weather in the evenings, though.

I’m certainly missing wearing shorts and flip flops, somethings not right with this weather that’s for sure, I was in a bikini this day last week and been cold since until a huge walk up the river today but guessing over exertion doesn’t count So can we all do a little sun dance before lights out tonight and hopefully we will be blessed with warm sunshine tomorrow
