“No bi men” why?

I get that it’s probably a preference thing, and I respect that. I’m straight myself so it’s not exactly personal but I’m just wondering why so many people have some form of ‘no bi men’ on their profile. It’s not like if someone is bi you must engage in bisexual activity?

I don’t mean to offend anyone at all, I’m just genuinely curious.

A few possible reasons.

They’ve had bad experiences with bi guys

They simply express a preference

They’re scared that we’ll be unable to control our urges and try to jump on the straight guy D

They’re homophobic

Either way, I just bypass the profile and don’t give it another thought.

There’s also the assumption that we’re raging cockahllics, and riddled with std’s

All of the above...

Bi women though we're worshipped even though technically could be exactly the same as the above things stigmatised with bi men by some

I've heard in the past of pushy bi guys and I suppose that it only takes one or two to meet multiple couples and they will put off loads of people. To be fair it's probably pushy people in general that have the effect but the bi label is easy to pick on. Probably why a large % of people that are open to bi experiences won't put it in their profile in case it scares couples off. In our case if you scare easy we probably aren't for you

There could be lots of reasons but the 2 biggest would be fear and bigotry but every person has free will to choose why they don't I suppose the same could be said for those ladies who wouldn't meet a bi lady

As a couple we have met bi guys, Fred is 100% straight, but it has never been a problem

Honestly I've stopped trying to work out people's reasoning on here.

For couples I guess it's because I'd obviously try to slip my peen into the hubby's bum

Maybe it’s just personal preference.

Maybe it’s because the straight men in a couple are worried that the bi men might want a bit of their cock.

Maybe it’s the perceived increased risk in infection - studies have shown that gay men are more at risk of STI’s than heterosexual men, and bi men are more at risk than gay men (One source: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3575167/ )

Maybe it’s just bigotry.

Who knows?

A woman I met said now bi men when I met her and we had some good times.

I drifted in to bi activity and she said, she did not mind men who were just a bit bi.

People change. I still chat with her, but since she moved we have not met.

"Because they'll stick their dick in anything?

How does that differ from straight ones then?

If you go to a sweet shop pick and mix,you don't need to put aniseed balls in your bag if you don't like them.all the sweets you do like are there for you.

Bit of a bad metaphor but hopefully people will understand.

Ah but if you do put some in unintentionally they might rub some of their flavour off on the other sweets

When it comes to men we’re only interested in bi, same with women to be honest.

That’s people who have bi on their profile, not “I’m bi really but I don’t put it on my profile” people.

Do gay men pretend to be bi to get the husband and then the wife misses out . ..

Bi men are associated with STIs also. Better to stick with gay men so you know we're you stand

I've had plenty of threesomes with bi-men and straight men as part of a couple.

I can honestly say there's been no variation with regard to dickhead factor.

I've never felt a pressure to engage in bisexual activity. I'm sure that took exceptional willpower on their behalf though.

It's sexual preferences, same as anyone else has sexual preferences, no one is in a position to tell anyone what their preferences should be in my opinion, it's my body and I'll share with who I want, not what society says I have to.... Just saying!

No one is suggesting you be told who you share your body with.

You’ve answered the question by saying it’s a preference. Simple as that.

Sadly, others express their preferences in a less than polite manner.
