Reports that DNA tests reveal that Asian hornets, soon to be renamed by woke scientists, have survived a winter in England. Well to be fair, we hardly have winters now and rarely a frost. These buggers eat our bees which is not good for fertilizing the plants which in turn may mean fewer crops. Not sure how far north these buggers have got but Kent, known as the Garden of England, seems to be their epicentre. Tom is not sure how cold it is in the north but he once went to a place called Scarborough and the wind cut through like a knife through hot butter. Is Putin involved in any way? It's all over the news

Bloody Asian hornets - coming over here and bringing their families, killing our British bees, nicking the nectar from British flowers - why didn't they stay in France, blah blah...

Are these the murder hornets that were all over the news in 2019/20?

I was wondering what had happened to them. They and the creepy killer clowns just seemed to vanish from view.

I saw a clip of some daft sod eating a live one(!!!)

It promptly stung him in the mouth and the subsequent clip showcased the guys face which had swollen up like a beach ball

It's potentially tragic if a few of them get established here, with our milder winters.

This past winter was very mild overall, with few freezing periods etc
