Is dogging dead?

Bristol

We remember years ago just going out in the car around Bristol and surrounding areas, no spending hours online trying to arrange something, no driving around for hours trying to find a suitable location but going out and parking up in one of several places and within minutes of our arrival there would be guys walking past the car trying to see if we were doing anything, walking past regularly eyes fixed on Mrs, then we would be treated to several men at once wanking outside the car waiting and hoping for the window or door to open. Often we would have to tell some to leave as there were too many lol but nowadays all the people at the locations are either guy/bi men cruising or youths and boy racer types being a nuisance. Our question, is dogging dead? Especially in our area or have the locations changed from the well known places of old?

Pm if you don't want to post publicly

Kinda know what u mean, can be hit and miss with yes plenty gay guys who aren't at all interested in sexy lady's. and yes the boi racers can be a nuisance that's for sure. There are however a few good places for cruising and receiving plenty of action. I heard Hampstead Heath on Friday and Saturday is kinda good fun, and I've yet to visit.

Police come down on this activity far harder (giggle) than before, as they do with all sex crimes now.

Also the last rime we went dogging, the amount of idiots taking fones out to recor, when they have been told no cameras. We not gone out since, this was pre covid

I think the Smart phones and dash cams have caused a lot of issues with this. When the Ex and I were doing it regularly there was no smart phones. But even in those days you had some issues with certain characters. We only went to well established places where there were many regular men and couples. The regular men kept the place controlled with how the men acted etc. Seen a few literally marched out of the site lol. Not done anything for many years now.

We started Dogging while still living in Africa albeit a completely different way. But still a lot of fun.

Sad that technology has, in this case, made things worse. Even though I love modern technology lol it has not worked well for Dogging.

Yeah phones are a scourge all over. Even just chilling at the nude beach you always see assholes trying to film people

Is it all down to cameras and phones then? This is why I would of thought that the genuine old school doggers would have moved to less common locations so as to keep away from these undesirables lol.....well, more of a hope than a thought

Its a shame, the summer months were so good going out for hours on end getting up to allsorts of naughtiness. Looks like it's prearranged meets now then

Unfortunately dogging seems to be too much effort and very frustrating last weekend we were out and although there seemed a few people interested nobody actually got on with the job. Seems like too much patience is needed and we get bored

I don't know if it's only the phones? I think since COVID it changed? Pre COVID people seemed more willing to go out and about and post COVID it seems dead? No one really considers dogging anymore for fun or they just pre arrange meets?!watching only especially when it's mainly men no women is a bit pants for most? Also its so rare that a woman actually goes I guess that's why it turned into more of a cruiser gay scene?

tighten up laws with exposing yourself outdoors, idiots floating around , phones ,, hassle of people using internet / clubs more for meets

dogging/cruising etc all slowly fading out

Is dogging dead?

Not quite yet, but it’s probably in intensive care and on life support about now. A matter of time before they switch it off.

I think the reintroduction of bears in the UK would kill the scene.

Look, it's funny in my head. I don't care.

Evil buggers, you’d need to keep an eye out for those savage beasts.

Not sure this is the right crowd for that joke, maybe the RSPCA annual general meeting.
