I went blackberry picking last summer and after making the usual pies I had some left over. Decided to throw them in a Demi John with some sugar and a bottle of vodka. Gave it a shake to mix it very other day and after a month I had sensational tasting blackberry vodka

Sasparella its amazing and pear drop.

Get some of the old sweets crush them up with a rolling pin...empty some of the bottle out and put the crushed sweet mix in and leave at least 24 hours makes lovely vodka for shots.

Plums or sloes should work well - good in gin.

And that's plums the fruit

In a crisp poke on the A814

Anyone tried the Henleys Sweet Shop vodka??

The sweet is in the bottle, you add vodka when you get home and wait for it to dissolve....

Chilli is good but don't go mad so is strawberry...I would think that trying to get mint leaves to infuse could be good as well

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

skittles done in the dishwasher

Pour out a few nips of vodka - add skittles, dishwash on a hot cycle, take out, shake, leave to cool, and ready within an hour or so.

It wasn't bad, just a little odd. Basically vodka with a chili kick at the end!

sounds gorgeous. The best homemade wine we ever made was blackberry, it disappeared in an afternoon and we lost a whole afternoon too

If you're doing the Skittles vodka, you need to filter it afterwards or else you get white scum on the top and it's cloudy.

Filter it and it'll be lovely and clear too. Just looks better.

Also, google skittles vodka and you'll find a label to stick on your bottles. They look fab. I make them when we have a party - always go down really well.
