so that people can see they are not invisible, they do matter, sometimes just an acknowledgement makes a difference

Probably 7 out of 10. Improving weather means I can do more of the things that positively impact my mental health. Golf and long walks with my partner and our dog.

Also light mornings and evenings are a big plus

I was in a good place, my head feels heavy at the moment though and now it's doing that thing it does, trying to work out what happened to trigger it. I have that buzzy 'eat static' sensation going on.

I'm ok, I just find the: I wish I could check out of my own head feeling a bit

that track doesn't lead anywhere good. I'm just going to curl up a while, feel the sun on my skin and sit with it.

I love the idea of this thread.

I've always had mental health issues but really struggled the past few years.

My inbox isnt open as I'm an empath and struggle to deal with my own stuff never mind anyone else's but if anyone is feeling down is very important to seek the help that you need to get yourself through

In an okish place, surviving. Deep down I know my darkest thoughts are not the answer but struggle to find a different answer.

Planned to hide away and hibernate for few days but got myself out for food and walk today

Today I'm having a bad day and not feeling great. So I will go to the gym and look for a distraction to keep my mind occupied.

I don't mind admitting that I cried myself to sleep with all the ASB that happens, it's hard to put any positivity into any thoughts and I'm struggling to try to spin it around.

Not so pleasant thoughts come in and it may sound stupid to most, but if I didn't have my cat I wouldn't be here writing this. She's the only reason right now I'm here. But I'm fading

This month is always a very "this is the month, this is the day" when I lost my best friend to MH, 7 years ago 10th June, while each year gets easier it's still very hard sometimes.

Especially as her birthday was at the start of the month and then other stuff we did and said still plays on my mind quite a bit.

I don't know you but I can guarantee you there are people in your life that are happy you kept fighting and their lives are a happier place with you still here. I know it never feels like that, I have the same demons that still have a grip on me

Not been a good month, (I always seem to get a big drop in the summer and another around Xmas/ NYE) Some incidents over the month have left be feeling very disillusioned and isolated. Combined with physical illness, it culminated in bout of manic depression and a big brain melt own on the weekend in front of my FWB, which has caused a major rift between us. My body did it's usual fight ot flight and I ran away and tried to cut all contact.

So, now I'm feeling crap, licking my wounds and trying to decide if I have the courage to try and make amends, or whether I'm better off just saying my goodbyes and not subjecting him to my mood swings.

Anyway. Hope you are all doing well.

(No, I don't need to chat, sympathy or anything thanks)

After suffering a complete mental breakdown and trying to take my own life I have been on sick leave for 2 months. I have a meeting this week with my employer to discuss coming back
