Hotlist and friends curation

I’ve just been having a look through these updates and lists, and I’ve realised that quite a few are inactive, don’t interact or have rejected me. In those terms these lists require a level of culling and curation that I haven’t undertaken in a while.

My question, dear fabbers, is how often do you check and curate your friends and hot lists?

I went through my friends list recently and got rid of people that don’t talk to me. And then got rid of people whose updates annoy me from my hotlist.

I’d say once every 3/4 months. Which is longer than I’m usually on the site at a time

I cull at times but also leave them be, as few have went AWOL which normal life has most likely taken an important role

Hot list I just leave them swimming around in the pond/pool many have also went AWOL

Our friends list are mostly people we are actually friends with from our local organised social events

So less so with that

But hotlist atleast once a month gets a trim

Hotlist is B's territory. Friends I check every so often but rarely remove someone. It's a mixture of friend-friends and sex-friends. I'm not great at messaging but I like seeing their photos and statuses come up.

Arch, I rarely bother. Folk generally make it to friends list if we’ve actually met or if we’re friends, not just sexy friends. Hotlist is mostly for perving purposes

We hardly ever remove from our friends list as usually these are people we have met

Coincidentally was thinking the other day that our hotlist needs trimming!

Hotlist, rarely. Don't really use it.

Friends list... if I've not spoken to someone for a bit, if it feels lacklustre, weird or I'm at a point where I'd rather they didn't have access to my photos I remove them.

It really varies though. I can not talk to some people for months and think nothing of it. Other people; a few attempts at conversation and I'll remove them.

I don't have a big friends list - currently at 9 and I'm happy to stick with that. Rarely go above 15.

The ones on my hotlist are people that I am attracted to, so I probably don't update it as much as I should do.

Friends list is only for people I've actually met in real life so it's extremely small.

Hotlist isn't necessarily a list of people who I think are hot, some people are only on there because one wrong move & there's half a chance they might be relegated to the block list.

The block list I'll periodically remove inactive accounts to free up space. There's a lot of people in there who just set up an account for the weekend or something and then never logged in again, which shows I'm quite good at identifying waste profiles.

My friends list is never more than 20. And most of them I chat to on other platforms or see regularly.

I often remove newbies that I get chatting to and then it peters out for some reason. Just lashed 2, as we speak

I alternate between friends and hotlist monthly. This month was hotlist where I removed inactive people and ones I no longer want to see updates from.

At the end of next month I’ll do the same with friends.

I don't have a huge friends list. Some people I've met aren't even on there.

Hotlist is generally for those that pique my interest for potential contact down the line, but as I rarely send messages these days some come and go on that.

I don't think I've deleted anyone off the friends list since last summer.

OP, something on here really upset me a couple of weeks ago and I wiped out the whole profile, friends, hotlist, messages, few pictures left.

Could have probably gone unlos instead but just couldn’t make it.

I’m not proud of my attitude but too late now. Just wanted to say sometimes things like that happen as well.

I currently have the largest friends list I’ve ever had with seven total people. For the first time ever I have two people I’ve never met before. Totally living wild these days!

I am a fussy lady and will delete people without warning when we’re not communicating, meeting or planning to meet anytime soon. I don’t see the reason to keep them as a friend with access to my top secret friends only gallery if we haven’t engaged in friendship in some way.

My hotlist, I rarely use it. I forget my rhyme or reason for adding people to it. I’ve gone back months later and asked myself why did I add this person?

I use my Høtlïst as a hierarchical system based on current friendships, intrigue and opportunities. It's a curated list representing those with whom I'm already acquainted and/or chatting. The list also represents those rare gems I would like to meet, irrespective of the outcome or intentions.

It also serves as useful filter for following the notable status updates of wit, humour and imagery.

After nearly four years on here I've accumulated about 9 friends in total and it rarely goes beyond double figures. I don't send friend requests. They're usually incoming and even then I am discerning with whom I connect it with.

Periodically I'll do a purge of my Friends List if there is any form of 'inactivity' in whatever shape or form.
