Periods

The absolutely worst thing ever. I very rarely get periods due to illnesses so when I do I get treated to a whole month of symptoms and 4 days of bleeding so heavy I have to stay in bed sleeping it off.

I feel very sorry for those who have to deal with this every month. Like goddamn you are some strong soldiers.

Me? I’m sat in bed eating about 20 kinder bars and feeling sorry for myself. Woe is me.

Vent over.

(P.S: not looking for solutions or medical advice, just venting.)

.

Yep, they're awful. I'm envious of those who have light, relatively easy periods. I've managed to avoid taking tramadol so far on this one... luckily work has always been really understanding when I've had to shift things/have hospital appointments relating to it.

Hope yours passes soon for you, x

East Anglia

Finally I think I am clear of themonthly curse

18 months without one now

But the lead up was so unpredictable with very heavy periods and long bleeds

I sympathise with any woman who suffers with heavy periods

Mine used to be fine but The Brat suffers horrible periods.

Of course, now I'm dealing with perimenopause.... which is 20x worse.
