Do you enjoy having time to just relax and do nothing? Make plans for "fun", socialise and stuff? Or would you rather be busy all the time?

I hate time off work, and I can't choose when I'm off. I like to be busy, I like having a million things to do all the time, it suits me better.

When I'm not busy, I procrastinate, I over think, I over eat, I cry, I sleep less - how this is possible I don't know.

So if someone can dick-stract me that would be most appreciated. Thanks.

I hate sitting at home and doing nothing so like to be busy. If I have time off and need that quiet then I have to go and camp out in the middle of nowhere with no access to the world so that I can immerse myself in the peace

My days off used to be spent just lying in bed most of the day, especially if doughnut was working but since we had a life changing start to the year (relationship wise) I've tried my best to make my days off count and not waste my days, mostly it's cleaning etc if doughnut is working, I rarely sleep in now, if he is off we will try and go out, even if it's for a walk.

Trying to put more social activities into the diary together (can you see a theme here...I don't have many friends, I have them but don't see them from one month to the next due to life).

If I'm off work, I like to do something but relaxing something. We just had a day off yesterday to have an extended BH weekend and spent it together in London. We went places and did stuff but we relaxed and had a great time.

I like to take myself swimming or horse riding or something like that if I'm off work on my own.

I need downtime, but my version of that is pottering about at home getting little jobs done. I could never spend all day in bed or on the sofa watching TV as I'd feel crap about being unproductive and the overthinking and self-criticism would start.

Being too busy is stressful and I'd reach burnout very quickly.

I'm gonna link it at the right time.

There's always something to be done and I don't mind that. I like being busy. Yeah, sure at times I moan about being "on it" from very early until evening but I don't mind.

Those rare times when I can switch off? I'm normally already with someone else. I've booked myself a spa day for next month and bar talking to my fiancé and another, I'm digital detoxing and having long sleeps and walks and reading. Can't wait.

I’m easy.

I’ve got used to finding myself not doing anything, but I get bored quickly and that’s when I just either delve into just doing ‘stuff’ in my own that kills time (which are never productive) or I get angry that nobody wants to play out when I ask.

I like doing ‘stuff’ with people, because that’s how good memories are made.

It really depends on my brain space. Sometimes just sitting and doing nothing is wonderful. Other times I will be cross at myself for "wasting" my time off.

At Easter, life was a lot and things kept happening to ruin all the plans we had in place. So I had to do nothing and hated it. I am really enjoying this week off and yesterday was a chef's kiss of nothingness.

Have you considered that someone could show you a way to relax and be calm. Too much stress isn't good for anyone. If you overthink, then learn not to do so. The right partner should help you to move in this direction.

If he gives you a good seeing to regularly, that's just a bonus

I think I am almost the polar opposite to you in this regard.

I would be quite happy to never feel busy and I make concerted efforts not to be, although this seldom works out to be the case, which can leave me feeling mithered and at times overwhelmed, if I have million things to do.

I enjoy my work and I can pick my days, to an extent, I try to schedule so I have days off and in work and not let it bleed into each other. I need space from work.

I need to not be doing things to process my thoughts and emotions. If I don't, even if it means feeling sad or crying, then it sticks with me and weighs me down.

Distraction for me means I'm avoiding something and that's usually not good for me.

For me it's vital to empty hours to just unwind and mentally process. I had time off recently and I visited friends at one weekend, did a couple of local day trips, but enjoyed just having days with nothing to do as well. Time to just read, listen to music, watch some films. Bliss.

"I always have high hopes of filling my days in meaningful ways, but end up procrastinating and failing to commit and waste my time off doing bugger all

I convinced myself I would of had the sex stuff, instead I watch netflix. Yay me. "

I even posted a meet and still failed to do the sex

"I like being busy at work, but I live for my chill time outside of work. Art, movies, games, reading, being out and about, these feed my soul.

You have an apt username

So do you, that movie was filled with hot women

Look up the actual meaning of 'coyote ugly'

You're very demanding tonight"

I have no difficulty with time off from doing things for other people. I fill it with time spent doing things for me.

Weren't you saying a couple of days ago that you wanted hot passionate sweaty sex? You need to make your mind up love

"Do you enjoy having time to just relax and do nothing? Make plans for "fun", socialise and stuff? Or would you rather be busy all the time?

I hate time off work, and I can't choose when I'm off. I like to be busy, I like having a million things to do all the time, it suits me better.

When I'm not busy, I procrastinate, I over think, I over eat, I cry, I sleep less - how this is possible I don't know.

So if someone can dick-stract me that would be most appreciated. Thanks.

"

My penis looks like George Clooney!! Pretty enough?

Definitely more fun, I wonder what sex with coyote would be like, one minute things are going well, you get naked and get it on, half way through she changes personality and goes from gagging for it, to a conservative headmistress with a hair bun, looking down her glasses at me.

It's best not to think about it.
