We shorten the name of the site in threads and conversation.

Are you a fab person or a fabs person?

If you are a fabs peep did you join thinking it was a flying club or people making it up as they go along?

I'm not a person of abbreviations or stylised acronyms, unless they've been universally adopted into mainstream English.

Yesterday someone suggested that I DM them. It took me a while to work out what that meant. That's fine.

If someone is going to apologise to me with a "soz" they can whistle 'Dixie' for all I care with that insincere gesture.
