What is the best form of hair removal at home? Wax, shave or hair removal cream? Or do you get it professionally done? Decisions decisions...

I prefer to shave, I'm too much of a wimp to wax and cream stinks and can leave a burning sensation.

Wax, but get the melting pot and use the wax beads. Don't use those strips you can buy, they are just a form of torture.

Or the magic powder stuff is good, comes stripper recommended.

I tend to trim not completely remove but shaving is tricky in intimate regions, wax get it done by a pro but be prepared it's something you need to build up to, not sure I'd wax my neither regions having had it done on my chest. For me it's removal cream if I'm going smooth.

Waxing by a professional. I couldn't do it myself. I'd not be able to rip it off and would just be stuck like that forever!

Have a look at WooWoo Tame It hair removal. It’s brilliant and not that bad smelling comparing to others. It’s the only thing I use.

Depends if your on hormones or not as it affects the density of the hair and speed off growth. I had TS gf.

About 3 feet away from the fence

I use removal cream but it's generally not recommended in case you burn your bits (I've done it a couple of times).

There's no way on earth I'm using wax down there and I don't feel comfortable using razor blades around that region.

London (She/Her)

I got laser hair removal, so now there is only the soft blonde hair left and that’s easy to shave without irritation.

Before that I would get waxed at a salon once a month.

Shave with a good razor, I use Gillette. Just found recently they do an intimate shaving kit, the gel is like a butter I've used it's really good.

I use an ingrowing hair lotion on the pubic area once dry, it's really good for dealing with shaving rash there.

Gillette Venus used regularly does the job for me all over.

Tried Veet on the legs in the past … tooo smelly and faffy! … NEVER on my bits .. I’ve heard the horror stories!!

Often thought about waxing … sound a lovely outcome … just a wimp to try it! I love to keep my legs lovely and smooth, and you have to let them get stubbly, ti get them waxed.

R xx

Intimate veet - I don’t find the smell too bad or offensive - it works well. I have been waxed too in the past, and find this really good for a lasting smoothness. Cost wise, veet makes total sense - it’s easy to find (tescos, £9 I think) and one tube does probably three or four sessions - as opposed to racing which is about £50 for one session. It’s much smoother than shaving in my experience.

If anyone has seen the film 40 year old virgin, that was pretty close to my experience waxing my chest and arms, I was shocked by how bloody painful that was. The lady that did it thought it was hilarious.

I could not even imagine waxing down there, lol

I used hair removal cream bought from Anne summers the other week to do my chest arms and my nether bits and to be honest it felt like I had been sand blasted for a couple of days after that.

Exfoliating body scrub, applied using exfoliating gloves before using an electric shaver.

Aqueous Calming Cream to finish.

Lovely and smooth, with minimal irritation - even right down in the valley!

Hubby always does this for me when I am expecting a gentleman caller.

Use a hair removal cream called Nair, it's brilliant just don't leave it on longer than it says as it will burn.

I get it waxed professionally occasionally, but I epilate mostly.

Yes, it really f#@kn hurts the first couple of times (so does waxing), but you desensitise quickly. I hate the itchiness of regrowth if I shave.

About three weeks for me - depending whether I want to be totally smooth in that timescale. Regrowth is quite fine and soft too

I'm yet to find a good way.

When I have a planned meet or shoot then I always get down to the bare bones, I like the feel of shaved so Im always on the look out for the best way to achieve this. I'm always trimmed short, why would anyone let it grown out, male wise anyway

Shaving feels great afterwards but those ingrown hairs and rash when growing back, oh my. Waxing done there is way way too painful and a horrendous experience for a guy.

I find you can prevent shaving rash and ingrown hairs by washing with an exfoliating glove and soap - it really works I promise!

I find a good dose of moisturiser after also helps.
